Duas for Fasting Person (روزہ دار کے لیے دعائیں)

Introduction

Fasting in Ramadan is not just about abstaining from food and drink, but also about engaging in worship, prayers, and supplications (duas). A fasting person is in a state of obedience and humility, and his duas are among the most accepted by Allah.

تعارف
روزہ صرف بھوکا پیاسا رہنے کا نام نہیں بلکہ عبادت، دعا اور اللہ سے قربت حاصل کرنے کا ایک بہترین ذریعہ ہے۔ روزہ دار کی دعائیں اللہ تعالیٰ کے ہاں بہت زیادہ قبولیت پاتی ہیں۔

The Status of a Fasting Person’s Dua

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “There are three supplications that are never rejected: the supplication of a fasting person at the time of breaking his fast, the supplication of a just leader, and the supplication of the oppressed.” (Tirmidhi)

روزہ دار کی دعا کا مقام
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "تین دعائیں کبھی رد نہیں ہوتیں: روزہ دار کی افطار کے وقت کی دعا، عادل حکمران کی دعا اور مظلوم کی دعا۔" (ترمذی)

Important Duas for a Fasting Person

1. Dua Before Breaking Fast

اللّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ
O Allah! I fasted for You, I believe in You, I put my trust in You, and with Your sustenance, I break my fast.

افطار سے پہلے کی دعا
اے اللہ! میں نے تیرے لیے روزہ رکھا، تجھ پر ایمان لایا، تجھ پر بھروسہ کیا اور تیرے رزق سے افطار کیا۔

2. Dua at the Time of Breaking Fast

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
The thirst has gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is assured, Insha’Allah.

افطار کے وقت کی دعا
پیاس بجھ گئی، رگیں تر ہوگئیں اور اجر ثابت ہو گیا، ان شاء اللہ۔

3. Dua During the Day While Fasting

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَتَقَبَّلْ صِيَامِي
O my Lord! Forgive me my sins and accept my fast.

روزے کے دوران کی دعا
اے میرے رب! میرے گناہوں کو بخش دے اور میرا روزہ قبول فرما۔

The Best Times for Duas During Fasting

At the time of Suhoor (pre-dawn meal)
During the day while fasting
At the time of breaking the fast (Iftar)
In the last moments before Maghrib Adhan

روزے میں دعا کے بہترین اوقات

سحری کے وقت
دن میں روزے کے دوران
افطار کے وقت
مغرب کی اذان سے پہلے کے لمحات

Conclusion

The fasting person is in a state of worship throughout the day, and his duas hold a special status with Allah. Therefore, every fasting Muslim should make sincere supplications, not only for himself but also for his family, the Ummah, and for forgiveness and mercy from Allah.

اختتامیہ
روزہ دار دن بھر عبادت کی حالت میں رہتا ہے اور اس کی دعاؤں کو اللہ تعالیٰ کے ہاں خاص مقام حاصل ہوتا ہے۔ اس لیے ہر روزہ دار کو چاہیے کہ وہ اپنی، اپنے اہلِ خانہ اور پوری امتِ مسلمہ کے لیے سچے دل سے دعائیں کرے اور اللہ سے مغفرت و رحمت طلب کرے۔
