Introduction

Belief in the Day of Judgment (Qiyamah) is one of the six pillars of Iman in Islam. It means to believe that after death, every person will be resurrected and held accountable for their deeds, whether good or bad.

تعارف

ایمان بالیوم الآخر (قیامت پر ایمان) ایمان کے چھ ارکان میں سے ایک ہے۔ اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ مرنے کے بعد ہر انسان کو دوبارہ زندہ کیا جائے گا اور اس کے اعمال کا حساب لیا جائے گا، چاہے وہ نیک ہوں یا برے۔

The Concept of Qiyamah in Islam

The Day of Judgment is the final day when the entire universe will end, and all humans will stand before Allah. Everyone will be rewarded for their good deeds and punished for their sins, according to Allah’s justice and mercy.

اسلام میں قیامت کا تصور

قیامت کا دن وہ دن ہے جب یہ پوری کائنات فنا ہو جائے گی اور تمام انسان اللہ کے سامنے کھڑے ہوں گے۔ ہر شخص کو اس کے اعمال کے مطابق جزا یا سزا ملے گی۔ اللہ تعالیٰ عدل اور رحمت کے ساتھ فیصلہ فرمائے گا۔

Signs of the Day of Judgment

Islam teaches that before Qiyamah, there will be many small and major signs:

Appearance of Dajjal (Antichrist)
Descent of Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him)
The sun rising from the west
Ya’juj and Ma’juj (Gog and Magog)
The blowing of the Trumpet (Sur)

قیامت کی نشانیاں

اسلام کے مطابق قیامت سے پہلے کئی چھوٹی اور بڑی نشانیاں ظاہر ہوں گی:

دجال کا ظہور
حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کا نزول
سورج کا مغرب سے طلوع ہونا
یاجوج ماجوج کا خروج
صور کا پھونکا جانا

Importance of Belief in Qiyamah

It reminds Muslims that life is temporary.
It encourages people to do good deeds.
It prevents injustice and wrongdoing.
It builds fear of Allah and accountability.

قیامت پر ایمان کی اہمیت

یہ یاد دلاتا ہے کہ دنیا کی زندگی عارضی ہے۔
نیک اعمال کرنے کی ترغیب دیتا ہے۔
ظلم اور برائی سے بچاتا ہے۔
اللہ کے خوف اور جوابدہی کا احساس پیدا کرتا ہے۔

Quran and Hadith about Qiyamah

Allah says in the Quran:
“Indeed, the Hour is coming – there is no doubt about it – but most of the people do not believe.” (Surah Ghafir: 59)

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“The intelligent one is he who controls himself and works for what is after death.” (Tirmidhi)

قرآن و حدیث میں قیامت

اللہ تعالیٰ قرآن میں فرماتے ہیں:
"بیشک قیامت آنے والی ہے، اس میں کوئی شک نہیں، لیکن اکثر لوگ ایمان نہیں رکھتے۔" (غافر: 59)

نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا:
"عاقل وہ ہے جو اپنے نفس پر قابو رکھے اور مرنے کے بعد کی زندگی کے لیے عمل کرے۔" (ترمذی)
